Downtown Lynnwood is just a few minutes' drive from I-5, a state route that runs north to south. This provides fairly quick access to the University of Washington, as well as downtown Seattle. Likewise, Lynnwood is situated very close to I-405. This runs north and south on the eastside of Lake Washington. This freeway would be the best option for those commuting from Lynnwood to Bellevue or Redmond.
